Position
Summary:
To assist the shipping clerk with a variety of daily clerical duties involving scheduling shipments via UPS and FedEx software, sending emails to customers both internal and external, data entry, and inventory management in the form of cycle counts.

Responsibilities:
Process daily shipments using FedEx and UPS software Email communication with customers on shipping status Inventory Cycle Counts Freight Quotes Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Requirements:
Previous shipping experience, including scheduling and processing shipments using various customer portals and shipping software (UPS/FedEx) Attention to detail, being able to receive and review production work orders for errors Computer skills must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel Ability to prepare shipping documents and custom documents for international shipments File freight claims as needed Obtain freight quotes Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and to communicate both verbal and written Inventory management in the form of cycle counts and updating in company data base Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach, twist/turn Ability to life and or move up to 25 pounds Ability to read and write in English Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions Work Environment:
