N/ABasic Job Functions We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the pivotal role of Plant Manager at Nucor Fastener in Shelbyville, IN.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to safety, a relentless drive for results, and a keen focus on optimizing both cost and quality.

Reporting directly to the Vice President/General Manager of the division, this position offers a prime opportunity to make a significant impact.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Active participation and leadership in the division and in the enterprise safety effortsResponsibility for the leadership and oversight of the operational functions within the manufacturing department including staffing, throughput, scheduling, and cost management.
Lead, model, nurture, and advance the Nucor culture.
Actively lead, mentor, and develop a high functioning, cohesive production leadership teamEnsure strict adherence to Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures and regulations.
Drive the implementation of new equipment and processes as part of our continual improvement process.
Willingness to relocate.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Five (5) years supervisory, management, or formal leadership experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Three (3) years supervisory and/or management experience within the fastener, automotive, or steel-related manufacturing industry NO phone calls please.
