JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONSJOB SUMMARYRequires working Monday through Friday and every other Holiday/ overtime and on call as needed and approved by management.
Performs tasks necessary to insure the patients, staff, and visitors have a clean and sanitized hospital to be in including performing and following established procedures, and may be required to work in all areas of the hospital including sterile and isolation areas.
Performs in a teamwork environment and may be asked to do other duties within Environmental Services Department as assigned, including working other shifts and in different buildings as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSProfessional & Technical SkillsSuccessful completion of hospital and department orientation and training; must be able to read and understand labels, directions and policies.
EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredLicense(s) or Certification(s)NoneOther Skills or RequirementsCustomer service oriented personality; two years of Environmental Services experience preferred but not required.
Ability to learn and use computer system.
