Our law firm is actively seeking a dedicated Permanent Litigation Paralegal with a focus in Personal Injury.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about law and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will provide support to our attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases from the initial client meeting through resolution or trial.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1.
Assist attorneys in all stages of personal injury litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
This includes drafting pleadings, discovery, and pretrial documents; managing trial exhibits; attending depositions, mediations, and trials; and assisting in trial preparation and strategy.
2.
Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
3.
Organize and maintain case files, correspondence, and other documents.
4.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, attorneys, and others to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions.
5.
Coordinate and manage calendars, deadlines, and appointments.
6.
Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting, editing, and finalizing legal documents and correspondence.
7.
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure smooth case progression.
8.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal within the field of personal injury law.
2.
A thorough understanding of personal injury law and litigation processes.
3.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
4.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, attorneys, and others.
5.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7.
Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
8.
Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
9.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required10.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
